Flora and Fauna
Here's a Tawny Owl chick found at the bottom of a tree on the Braeintra road. He didn't look very well so was taken home and fed and he perked up fine. The advise by the otter rescue people in Breakish was that Tawny Owl chicks are very agile and can climb back up to their nest so he was put back in a nook a bit higher up the tree where he was found so as to be out of reach of dogs, etc.
He was gone the next day - Let's hope he made it
